1. Reasons for processing

nextlane® only processes personal data if there is a valid reason for doing so. Under the GDPR, there are a number of reasons, so-called “principles”, that justify the processing of personal data. The principles that nextlane® uses when processing personal data are:

2. Data that we collect and process

When you visit our websites

You are free to visit and explore our websites without providing any personal information about yourself. When you fill out a contact form, we ask you to provide personal information about yourself and we collect navigation information.

Personal information

This refers to any information that you voluntarily provide to us that personally identifies you, including contact information, such as your name, email address, company name, telephone number, bank account number and other information about yourself or your company. Personal information may also include information about visitor type, both prospect and customer, and information about you that is available on the Internet, such as from Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Google, or publicly available information that we obtain from service providers. Personal information also includes navigation information when such information can directly or indirectly identify an individual. Navigational information refers to information about your computer and your visit to this website, such as your IP address, geographic location, browser type, referral source, length of visit and pages viewed.

We will only use the information we collect in accordance with this privacy policy. Customers who purchase services or products are required by our agreements with them to adhere to this privacy policy.

We never sell personal information

As a digital agency, we should be an example when it comes to privacy. Your privacy is important to us. Retention periods

We only store your personal data for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected and/or to promote the legitimate interests of nextlane®, such as compliance with legal retention periods. If nextlane® no longer needs the data for the aforementioned purposes, nextlane® may retain the data for archiving and possible legal proceedings. If we process your personal data to answer a question from you, we will store that data so that we can answer possible follow-up questions or handle a possible complaint.

Our websites provide links to other websites. We have no control over, and are not responsible for, the content or practices of these other websites. The fact that we provide such links does not mean that we endorse these other websites, their content, their owners or their practices. This privacy policy does not apply to these other websites, which are subject to any privacy and other policies those external websites may have.

nextlane® uses cookies and other technology to increase your online ease of use and to determine how you use the site, so that we can improve the quality of our services and website.

Advertising

We partner with advertising networks to display advertisements on our website or to manage our advertising on other sites. Our ad network partner uses cookies to collect information about your activities (not your name, address, email address or telephone number) on this and other websites in order to provide you with targeted advertising based on your interests. If you do not want this information to be used to provide you with targeted advertisements, you can unsubscribe by clicking here: https://www.youronlinechoices.eu/. Please note that this does not mean you are opting out of receiving advertising. You will continue to receive generic advertisements. View, adjust or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by nextlane® and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organisation mentioned by you. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@nextlaneagency.nl. To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to enclose a copy of your proof of identity with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN) black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks. As nextlane®, we would also like to point out that you have the option to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority. Changes to the privacy statement

nextlane® evaluates its privacy statement often and at regular intervals. We may adjust our privacy statement, for example in connection with changed laws and regulations. We recommend that you consult this privacy statement regularly to see whether the statement has been changed. This privacy statement was last changed on October 16, 2023.
